PULSE GENERATOR
The General Services Administration has authorized the use of this commercial item description.
Scope. This is a double pulse generator. The first pulse is fixed at approximately zero delay. The second pulse is delayable from 0.5 to 10,000 microseconds with respect to the leading edge of the first pulse. Frequency range is 2 Hz to 2 MHz. It is used on military end items.

Salient characteristics.
Oscillator Repetition Rate. The internal oscillator is continuously variable from 2 cycles per second to 2 megacycles per second in six ranges.
2 cps – 20 cps
20 cps – 200 cps
200 cps – 2 kc
2 kc – 20 kc
20 kc – 200 kc
200 kc – 2 mc
External Triggering. In addition to the internal oscillator, it may also be triggered from an external source by a trigger exhibiting the following characteristics.

5. Note: At lower repetition rates and/or faster rise times, the instrument triggers with a much lower amplitude pulse. The fast rise time quality of the sync, pulse out allows it to be triggered from the sync, pulse at all repetition. |

Pulse Delay. Main pulse delay is continuously variable, with respect to the sync. Pulse out, from 0.0 microseconds to 10,000 microseconds in five ranges.
