NOTES:
(1) Inspections 1 to 5, in the order shown, shall be performed on all first article units
before subjecting units to any other inspection requirements.
(2) The equipment shall be thoroughly washed, cleaned, dried and refurbished after this
inspection before proceeding with subsequent inspections.
4.4 Conformance Inspection. The contractor shall perform the inspections specified in 4.3
and 4.4.1 through 4.4.3. This does not relieve the contractor of the responsibility for
performing any additional inspection which is necessary to control the quality of the product
and to ensure compliance with all specification requirements.
